UF’s College of Pharmacy Medication Management Center (MMC) provides an advanced experiential rotation for fourth-year student pharmacists. The center rotation counts for two APPE rotations: one month for Geriatrics and one month for Medication Therapy Management. In addition, we offer a 1-month APPE elective called Advanced Medication Therapy Management for students who have completed the 2-month center rotation.
Students who have completed a 2-month rotation with the MMC have the opportunity to work with the MMC faculty/staff to design and complete an honors project for their upcoming graduation. Please see our Publications/Research page to view these honors projects.
The Residency Program at the Medication Management Center offers a unique and exciting opportunity to participate in a highly innovative and rapidly growing field of pharmacy practice. The residency is designed to promote professional growth and enhance patient care in a unique practice setting. Residents will provide patient services to Medicare Part D and Medicaid patients, precept students, conduct research, and work on various faculty and student projects.
